About the Plugin

Hi! I’m the founder, designer, developer, and support team behind this plugin — and you’re looking at something I’ve built entirely on my own.

I run Bugi Development OÜ, a private limited company based in Estonia. As a solo programmer with a passion for thoughtful software, I focus on building useful tools that empower independent merchants.

Why I Built This Plugin

This plugin — Made in Europe Product Label — is designed for one simple purpose: to help European merchants proudly show that their products are Made in Europe.

This is not an official EU campaign.

In fact, the European Union does not have a unified “Made in EU” label. That’s exactly why this tool exists — to give store owners a simple, honest way to showcase where their products come from.

The idea for this plugin started in 2025, as a personal response to the new tariffs the United States imposed on EU-made goods. I wanted to make it easier for fellow Europeans to find and support local products when shopping online.

I believe that where something is made still matters — for quality, ethics, sustainability, and pride. If you’re a store owner who feels the same, I built this for you.
